Breeding at Ffoshelig
We believe that all dogs should be hip-scored and eye tested before being put to the stud dog. We do not breed until our dogs are at least two years of age. Those that do not fall under the maximum hip-score breeding limit are spayed and kept as pets.
Tess has been spayed as her hip-score was above the limit. Bonnie's hip-score is under the limit and she has good eyesight, Bonnie won't be having anymore puppies as she's already had two litters and will be six this year, we had her spayed at the end of 2006. Precious' hip-score is 4/4 which is good, and her eyesight is good. We hope to breed from Precious when she next comes into season. Madison's hip-score and eyesight are good, she had a litter in June 2006 and will not have another until after June 2007. Rosie will have her hips and eyes tested June 2007, and if all goes well we will breed from her the following year.
